Baked Camembert

It is actually 'fried' rather than baked.  Because traditionally this melty and dreamy cheese dish is baked, I've decided not to change its name. Now, this should not be your typical everyday dinner idea. It is more a "reward" after a day of skiing in winter or after a long day of swimming in summer. 
The combination of camembert and blueberry jam is divine. 

Ingredients: 

  • camembert
  • egg
  • flour
  • bread crumbs
  • blueberry jam 




Steps to make it: 

1. Cover the cheese with flour, so that the beaten egg sticks to it. 



2. Beat an egg and dip the floured cheese into it.


3. Dust with bread crumbs.



... don't forget the sides :)



4. Bake over medium high heat in vegetable oil. 


 ... again, don't foreget the sides. 


Voila! :) 



Lastly, make a wish if this is the first time you are eating fried cheese!
