Late summer symphony of flavors for an afternoon snack

Figs are having a comeback in the season, so I wanted to share this beautiful combination of flavors that I found while flipping through Bon Appetit magazine few months ago.

It is summer with too many fruit choices. My peach is slowly giving up to a second round of figs and apples. So I decided to make this classic but delicious and simple dessert before we say bye to peaches for this season ;)
