Baklava is one of my favorite desserts. There is also something special to me about making baklava. I used the recipe from " The book of Greek cooking" by Lesley Mackley. Here is the recipe as I am not sure you can find it online. If you like baklava this is a pretty good recipe to use.

Spring rolls with Sauerkraut

This is another spring rolls recipe. I have invented it the other day and really liked it so I decided to share it here on Ma petite kuhinjica.

1 pack of spring roll wrapper
1 small onion finely chopped
1 cup sauerkraut (try to use one with probiotics from Whole Foods or homemade one)
½ cup carrots (julienned)
¼ low sodium soy sauce
1teaspoon sugar
2 tbspoons lime juice
Oil of your choice to fry the rolls (about 2 table spoons)
Scallions to garnish

Thai yellow curry with butternut squash

This is a type of the meal that I make when I have many vegetables around the kitchen and don't know exactly what to do with them... The good thing is that this dish keeps well for two days, so if you make more you can have it as a side dish and/or for a  lunch/dinner the following day.
